Timothy Bible School

Timothy Bible School (TBS) is the catalyst for pastor training and church planting.

Pastors leave their homes and churches to attend the month-long sessions to be equipped to better shepherd their congregations. Pastors receive no compensation for leading their congregations and it is a financial hardship for them to leave their jobs and families for a month at a time. Assisting with the cost of the sessions allows them to receive sound, doctrinal training. TBS also assists with the provision of church roofing for new church plants and bible distribution.

Sunday School Outreach

Sunday School Outreach provides the teaching materials and resources for all 167 churches.

Every church is teaching hundreds of children God’s word each week. Burundi Hope’s partnership helps teachers have instructive material in their own language. The ministry teams from Ephphatha Deaf School and Kanura School for the Blind are also part of Children of Hope Seminars sharing the Gospel and advocating to others that those with challenges have incredible talents and abilities.

Greatest Needs

Pastor Training

Burundi Hope has always supported the training of church pastors through the Timothy BIble School. The school offers year round sessions and supports the financial needs of the pastors while they learn and live at the school for 2-4 weeks at a time.

Church
Construction

Most churches can provide for the basic construction of a church building. The high cost of roofing materials often keeps many churches from being completed. Contributing to the church roofing fund provides for this need.

Sunday School
Support

Burundi Hope assists with provision of Sunday school materials in the languages of Burundi. Providing resource centers for the churches to house these precious materials  is another challenge we have helped to overcome. Supporting joint Children of Hope Seminars with the ministry teams of the schools shares the Gospel to children throughout the country.
