Burundi Bound
I am returning to Burundi this week for a 3 week stay. I depart from Washington DC on Tuesday, April 23 and will return May 15. It will be a busy trip per usual. I am anxious to see my Burundian friends and see how the Lord is working in person. It is wonderful to meet with the Burundi Hope Team and to receive daily photos and messages but in person is always best! There are many challenges I will navigate upon arrival including the fuel shortage and the flooding conditions. Pray for wisdom and efficiency as my time is never enough.
When I return from this trip I will not be returning back to Burundi until November. It will be the longest period of time I have been away since we established the Burundi Hope Project in 2014. Pray for the details and logistics as I work with the team and school directors.
Much of my time will be spent at the schools with the Spring Field Trips having begun. I always feel I never have enough time with the children. I pray we are able to have the fuel to get to the schools and it is possible for the field trips to happen.
I will update via email as I am able but will likley have the m ost current updates on Face Book. Please follow Burundi Hope Project and join our Prayer4Burundi page.
Thank you for your faithfulness in prayer and encouragement!
God Bless!
