As 2023 Comes to a Close
The past 2 months have been filled with memories and reminders of God’s grace and blessings in ministry and my personal life. I am amazed at how God continues intertwining the two worlds I live in connected by the gift of His Word and the promise of eternity with Him. Our pastor shared these thoughts on Sunday. God’s promises have no expiration date. He restores and protects His children. Lastly, today’s tragedies lead to tomorrow’s victories. As I reflect on this I see the results of these very words. Through the day-to-day challenges and the long-term trials, I see the determination of the Burundian people to remain faithful. They demonstrate by their actions they are Christ followers. An example for all of us to imitate.

Students and staff joined together to resolve a muddy problem at Maramvya. The rainy season has added significant challenges to the campus. Teamwork!
Kanura students sing their way into the hospital ward to bring others the gift of God’s Word through song and prayers. Patients were blessed and amazed at the blond students who wanted to give to them in their time of need. These students and their teachers took time to be the hands and feet of Jesus blessing them with both spiritual and physical food. Serving!
Your contributions have provided rainwater barrels for clean drinking and cooking water AND athletic shoes and sandals for the 350 students at both schools! Generosity!
