Women of WOW!
Women of Hope have become women of WOW! Women of the Word! 1700 women in 50 churches have been impacted by the teaching of God’s word from January - March 2025. These mature Christian women have persevered and navigated the fuel and transportation challenges. The rainy season provides for interesting journeys to church destinations with the final steps being on a well worn dirt path, straight up the side of a mountain. It is the way of life in Burundi. Attendance at the midweek Bible Study groups for women can range from 2 0 -100. Their time is spent in praise, worship and prayer. They are eager to hear God’s Word being taught.
A second group from Women of Hope is from the Sewing Center Program. Sewing Center : Ephphatha is partnering with Sewing Center: Maramvya to make school uniforms for a growing private school. Both sewing centers have taken on the challenge of fulfilling monthly quotas for the upcoming school year. Eleven tailors are earning income to support their families.

Mass production requires maintaining quality work and delivering on time. It is the goal and desire of the Sewing Centers to achieve it! The eleven tailors have accepted the challenge!
Take a few minutes to watch the video and how the Burundi Hope Project is sharing the Gospel through Women of Hope Programs.
These are two programs for women the Burundi Hope Project supports. Our desire is to establish four smaller sewing houses in local churches. The programs would not only help support families of the tailors but the churches use the programs to help support widows and orphans in their church community. As Women of Hope Seminars expand further from the capital city, Burundi Hope will help with transportation costs and accomomdations for multi-day trips. Next month we will share the details of Hope House and how it is helping women overcome challenges in their lives.
Pray how you can partner with Burundi Hope and continue being the hands and feet of Jesus in Burundi.
God bless!
